A new trailer for Spy Kids: Armageddon has been released, teasing that the new movie shares some surprising elements in common with one of the original movies. After four previous installments, the most recent of which was released in 2011, franchise veteran director Robert Rodriguez is set to return with a Spy Kids reboot movie for Netflix. The upcoming film introduces an all-new cast and story, while still containing some nods to the previous entries.
Now, ahead of the Spy Kids: Armageddon release date later this month, Netflix has unveiled a brand-new trailer for the film, revealing a video game-driven plot that seems to share many elements in common with 2003’s Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.
